Infants

Our infants thrive in a classroom space that is warm, safe, and inviting. Parental influence is crucial in creating the environment that works best for the individual child. Each infant is assigned a primary teacher who will update parents throughout the day with activities, pictures, videos, and messages. Our experienced teachers work closely with parents to ensure that our classroom is an extension of home. Our families feel engaged and informed even when they cannot be in the classroom. A low student-to-teacher ratio guarantees that each child receives a great deal of personal attention and excellent care.

We provide individualized learning opportunities that are appropriate for even the earliest stages of child development. Our classroom environment is engaging, but simple and provides opportunities for exploration, movement, and eventually independence. Materials are displayed on low and open shelving, keeping it in easy reach for our youngest students. We keep to a predictable schedule of the day that helps the infant feel secure and very much at home. Our program creates a healthy, engaging, and nurturing environment that encourages opportunities for learning, development, and socialization.
